Alexandra Zoupa
Co-Founder
BA(Hons), MArch, ARB, TEE
Alexandra was born in Patras and studied Architecture at London South Bank University, where she obtained a BA (Hons) in Architecture. She went on to complete her Master’s degree (MArch) at Kingston School of Art, graduating in 2016 with a strong academic and design foundation. In 2019, she qualified as a registered architect after completing her RIBA Part III at the prestigious Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, while working as a Project Architect at Sharpe Developments.
She began her professional journey in small architectural studios, where she developed a deep understanding of the design process and cultivated an appreciation for thoughtful, high-quality architecture. After completing her diploma, she joined the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre—a landmark project in Athens that houses the Greek National Opera and the National Library, set within a 170,000 m² park designed by the Renzo Piano Building Workshop. This experience offered her first-hand exposure to the complexities of a live construction site, requiring constant collaboration with architects, structural and mechanical engineers, suppliers, and site managers to address challenges in real time. The project's commitment to design excellence and attention to detail had a lasting impact on her professional outlook.
In London, Alexandra spent the majority of her career at Sharpe Developments, and later at Goldrose Sharpe Developments, following a joint venture between the two firms. Her work focused on high-end residential architecture, including renovations, refurbishments, and new-build developments. She was involved in every stage of the architectural process—from early concept and planning to final completion and handover. Starting as an Architectural Assistant, she progressed to the role of Lead Architect and Project Manager, taking on key responsibilities such as project coordination, team leadership, and communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams. She led multidisciplinary teams including architects, designers, site managers, and subcontractors to ensure each project was delivered to the highest standard.
Alexandra has a strong passion for real estate development and construction, combining design-driven thinking with practical project delivery.
She is a founding partner of DMA, where she continues to lead complex projects with a focus on quality, collaboration, and innovation.
